The Nigerian Public Schools have been described as the best grooming ground for high flyers in the society.
This was the consensus of the opinion of speakers at “The Prospects Documentary Project” of Oye Agunbiade held at African Comprehensive High School (Alagbaka High School) Alagbaka, Akure
Speaking on the giant strides being taken by Nigerian graduates of public schools in the world, a Senior Lecturer at Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State Doctor Adedayo Afe challenged the pupils to never see themselves as second class students but make the best out of what they are taught by the best teachers in their schools.
Also speaking, the General Manager, Radio Nigeria Positive FM, Akure, Deacon Femi Oladipo who reflected on his humble beginning from Wesley College Ibadan, told the students to give their best to become the person of their dream.
Corroborating the theme of the event “The Magic of Focus” Pastor Tunde Oladimeji of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Ondo Province 9, admonished the students to be focused, read wide and be prayerful to overcome the challenges of destiny
Some of the students Aluko Foluso, Feranmi Ogunlade and Nelson Adeyeye said with the documentary on the success of the renowned Neurosurgeon, Doctor Ben Carson shown to them by Mr Oye Agunbiade their lives would never remain the same.
